It's Strut Your Mutt time again! Paisley (pictured above) and I are asking you to please consider donating to our fundraiser for CAWS. While CAWS has almost reached its goal of $40,000, that is only about 10 - 15% of our annual operating costs. So as you can see, We continue to need your help. The more donations we receive, the more dogs and cats we can save.
Those who are friends with me on FB probably know that I have fostered 52 CAWS dogs. Among those 52 souls that I fostered was a momma chihuahua and her 7 beautiful puppies. Without you (and other like-minded folks) donating to CAWS in last year's fundraiser, sweet pregnant Mags would have been euthanized in New Mexico, along with her 7 unborn puppies. But that never happened because CAWS was able to save her, pay for transport and her medical needs, and put this little family in a loving foster home (mine). And, as you know, the rest is sweet glorious history! Side note: Paisley is a former CAWS dog that you saved as well!
This cause means so much to me and I am grateful for your help. Every day, about 2,000 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters, simply because they don't have safe places to call home. Each one is a loving pet just like yours, mine, and Maggie and her puppies.
Together, we can Save Them All and reduce that number to zero. Thank you for your kind support.
