I am raising money this year for all the animals that come in daily and for all the people who work alongside me in whatever capacity as they go thru the day-to-day chaos and stress that goes hand-in-hand with what we do. We work tirelessly seven days a week, all year round, in the name of saving animals.
Some people have legitimate reasons for giving up their animals, and we are happy to be able to care for them and find them new homes. But we also work with abuse cases, strays, and sick animals. We often stay up all night to keep them alive. Often, we are the first people to show abused or neglected animals compassion, kindness and comfort.
Sometimes we save them and do everything we can for them, but they still don’t find their “forever home.” Roxy is one of those. Her family surrendered her, and once taken to the vet, we found out she is in renal failure, We have to give her fluids daily to survive. Our vet said back in May she had probably only two months left to live, but she is proving them wrong and still finds energy daily to chase a ball in her foster's yard. We will keep our Foxy Roxy comfortable until it's her time I know she would rather be with her family that had her all her life and doesn't understand why they are not with her, but this is her next best thing. Our Rescue and surrounded by our Love
Being a rescuer is not easy, but I wouldn't change my life for anything else, as we are all dedicated to what we do. However, it also takes money to continue what we do. Please, if you can join me and donate a little bit, we will do everything else to save them.
