Thank you for visiting the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter's Strut Your Mutt Team page. We’re raising money to help end the killing of pets in America’s shelters. And we plan on having a lot of fun doing it!
Every day, more than 950 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters simply because they don't have safe places to call home. That number should be zero. That’s why our team is participating in Best Friends Animal Society’s Strut Your Mutt event to raise money for animals. But we need your help, too.
The funds raised during this event will benefit the shelter's medical fund, affectionately known as Jane's Fund, which is used to get the sick and injured animals brought to the shelter needed medical care that we aren't able to provide ourselves. So many wonderful animals have benefited from Jane's Fund, like Eevee.
Eevee was brought to the shelter with potentially broken ribs and hips, unable to stand on her own. She had puncture wounds on her head and left hip and a blown pupil in her left eye. She was in such poor shape that staff didn't think she'd survive the night. Thanks to Jane's Fund, she was able to get round-the-clock care at an emergency clinic, after which she went into foster where she made a speedy recovery. Eevee, now known as Mazie, was adopted into a loving new home and is living her very best life. All thanks to Jane's Fund.
Please join us either by registering for our team or donating to one of our team members. Your donation is tax deductible and each participating animal welfare organization keeps 100 percent of the money raised after transaction fees. And the best part? That money will help save the lives of homeless pets, just like Eevee/Mazie.
Together, we can Save Them All.
Thank you for your support!
