2022 Los Angeles Strut Your Mutt

Dogs Without Borders 2022

Thank you so much for visiting the Dogs Without Borders Strut your Mutt page!

I'm Chloe Lawrence, the new Executive Director of Dogs without Borders.  I am so thrilled to be leading this great pack and look forward to rescuing many, many (many!) more dogs and leading them to their fairy "tail" endings.  Our group has rescued 8,907 dogs since we were formed in 2006 and placed 149 dogs just in the last year.

As many of you likely know, Strut your Mutt is our biggest fundraiser of the year; the one that ensures we keep our lights on, our rescue mobiles running, and our dogs rescued, fostered, and adopted year after year.

This year, I have THREE goals for our Strut your Mutt fundraiser.

1. I want to challenge us to get at least 100 strutters in our pack!  Strut your Mutt is now an in person event again and I'd love to have at least 100 of our amazing supporters there with us either in person or virtually.  It's very easy to sign up.  Just click "join this team" below!

2. I want to challenge 100 of our social media followers to each raise $100.  That's $10,000 we can use to save more dogs.  100 for $100.  We can DO THIS!

3. I want to challenge us to raise a total of at least $30,000 through our pack, our social media, and our board.  Here's why:

We would like to hire an adjunct staff trainer to help our fosters and our entire team with behaviorally challenging dogs.  We won't stop rescuing cute little furries in need.  We won't stop rescuing pregnant strays or motherless litters.  We won't stop rescuing dogs with medical needs.  We know how to do this and we're great at it!

However, finding fosters for dogs with behavioral challenges continues to be a big challenge for us.  Boarding fees drain our funds and we KNOW that our foster village, with direct support and guidance, will take on bigger and bigger challenges.

Look at dogs like Lola, Gigi, Crackers, Bobby, and so many more.  Look at the dogs sitting in the shelters after cruelty, abuse, or neglect who need a little extra time and patience to awaken and become the dog they can be.  We want to be the ones to help more dogs like this.

Can you help us reach these goals?  Please?

Once you sign up, tell a friend!  Or tell 100!  Please make sure to sign up for our foster blasts and follow us on social media for the latest and greatest updates.  We love what we do and we can't wait to show you what Dogs Without Borders can REALLY do with YOUR support.

With love,

Chloe Lawrence
